Jan 5th-8th 2023, Bonners ferry Idaho.

Who's coming? What are ya bringing?

Dust off the junk... or finish building it... :poke: Erik...
And let's make this happen.

I'm racing big tire in the ftoy with rob as a copilot.
Just finishing up the rear links, gotta add a second fire extinguisher and fix my window net and I'm good to go.

I'm still gonna keep bugging you till it's done though...

But in all honesty it's totally worth taking your time and doing it right, instead of burning yourself out to make it happen.

It’ll be a last minute decision for myself. It would be cool to watch

Layne is coming from quesnel with his early bronco buggy. and a few of the Kelowna guys are coming.

Brad andrews still needs to make a decision.... The welfare duty needs redemption this year...

They've cut the classes down in size this year, so there's probably not going to be a chance to register last minute.

Should clarify I’m only going to watch, maybe help a local if they need it. My junk isn’t good enough to wheel that mess.

He's got a brand new set of tires that are begging to go racing...

Insanity fab was a blast.
If you weren't there you missed out, pics and videos don't really do it justice.

There were 8 trucks from Canada racing this year (none of which podiumed unfortunately).

We didnt go too, too hard during the elimination rounds to make sure we made the final. The final race was a different story.
Out of 8 trucks we were 4th coming into the trees, made a couple aggressive moves and ended up in 2nd place halfway through the first lap.
We were givin er and held a tight 2nd and had a half a lap behind us for the first 40 mins of the main. Even lapped the toyota that ended up in 1st.
In hindsight I should have listened to rob and eased up 10% or so... but I didn't... made one too many gambles and ended up tearing a tire off the rim and broke my steering.
Still finished another lap and ended up in 4th, that's racing I guess...ImageImageImageImageImage

That’s cool. Thanks for posting up. I was trying to keep an eye on you guys. I seen a couple Kelowna snow wheeling rigs there. Was hoping they would do a bit better as well.

Devon was killing it in the unlimited class, then he blew a serpentine belt on the first lap of the main, they changed it out and were still in a decent position and then they broke the supercharger belt and called it.

The other kelowna guys needed 4+ ft of snow to be competitive, the course was fast thus year due to warm temps and low snow levels.

Damn, too bad you went full pin it to win it and didn't. :lmao:

Still an awesome showing from the Canadian crew and good to see it's not just $200k buggies winning it.
