was out at the mcbride lake forestry cabin over the weekend. its what remains of a old fire fighting base there open for use by the public and infact you can reserve the site for free online. I usually use it as a stop over in the spring while im bear hunting. after the winter abuse by the sledders its usually in sad shape with tons of garbage and reaks of beer.

I was a little wary of stopping there with the family this weekend as I figured it would be in the same state it always is. as we got close too it i could see all the 4x4 tracks and such from the hunters that had probably just left this morning to my surprise it was spotless like im saying bleached floors. and probably a near cord of wood split and stacked on the porch.

Nice when places like that aren't trashed. Absolutley a bonus if they're leaving it better than it was.

Yeah kind of proud of the off-road community leaving it better then you found it. That seems to have been lost in the last few years. Glad to see it back
