Whatever they used for a slug inside it must not have been a good press fit... I lengthened the totally worn out driveshaft on my plow truck by putting a slug in the slip yoke part of it, it was a good press fit, and the thing didn't vibe any worse than it did before I monkey'd it.

Guess who was dumb and lazy and went to a drive through oil change place last time. ........ took a 24” pipe wrench to break it loose, 18” offset for next half a turn then I used a old ratchet strap and vise grips for the next rotation. Was a turn and a half until I could spin it with my hand. I actually think they got double the turns total more than i did putting the new one on.

on a scale of foot lbs to the torque created by the rotation of the earth, how tight was the drain plug? Ive seen those fellers break an oil filler cap too. Big beefy arms on em I guess?

Actually I needed big slip joint plier to remove the filler in the valve cover too. The drain oddly enough was tight but not ridiculous over done
