Selling the green pig.
Mods:
-D44 rear with Yukon Zip and disk brakes
-HP D30 front with Lokka and CVs
-AA HD SYE in the NP231, double cardan rear shaft
-SOA rear, RE 4.5" coils in the front (IIRC) and RE control arms, track bar is a Superlift I think? Flipped HD steering
-AX-15 trans, clutch is fresh and better style slave cylinder
-4.0L Renix so it will actually run forever
-Relay headlight harness
-Viair OBA
-Bucket seats and other interior upgrades
-AGM battery from MOTOMASTER!!!!!!!!
-Open cooling system
-Has two sets of wheels and tires, Firestone M/Ts and studded winters (I think they're Ipikes but eh) and a spare
-Trailer hitch with a 2" ball in it
I honestly don't know what else I did or didn't do. Tons of stuff was rebuilt or replaced, basically I replaced anything that was suspect with the intention of making it reliable. The truck is ugly, the body work was done in the dark by a Hellen Keller, but the thing is very reliable and works.
For the "I'm not trying that hard to sell it price" of $4000. OBO, sorta. Will take cash, things that go bang, large quantities of canned food, machine tools, and god knows what else in trade or partial trade. Also looking for a 2015ish+ 3/4 or 1 ton GM truck for my dad, so I guess we could work that in as a trade (obviously I'd have to top you up with at least a few thousand dollars on that )

Re: 88 Jeep Comanche
Nothing really. I need to buy some insurance for the XJ since it seems like I'll actually be home for a bit now. Eventually I start working on the other MJ again, but it got backburnered for other things (stupid house mostly).pointsnorth wrote: ↑Wed Sep 23, 2020 6:13 am So what is taking it’s place

I stopped driving this thing because keeping 3 or 4 vehicles insured was killing me, especially when I'm normally not even home.

If only they made one truck that could do everything you want it to do offroad , be a capable pickup for hauling shit and still crush long highway trips in comfort. Cybertruck?
